Step into the boots of a World War II gunner with WW2 Rotary Gun Simulator for the Playdate. This intense, arcade-style game lets you control a powerful rotary gun using the Playdate’s signature crank. Gameplay Features:

• Crank-Controlled Action: Feel the tension as you manually crank the rotary gun to unleash devastating firepower. The faster you crank, the faster you shoot, but be careful not to overheat the gun!

•  Control the speed:  Push the streams of enemies when driving forward. Your goal is to drive each mission's  total length and destroy all  structures on the way

• Authentic WW2 Experience: Immerse yourself in a historically inspired setting where you’ll defend strategic locations, repel enemy advances, and complete critical missions to turn the tide of war.

• Upgrade Your Arsenal: Earn rewards and upgrade your rotary gun with enhanced firepower, improved cooling, and special munitions to handle tougher enemies and challenging scenarios.

• Challenging Missions: Take on a series of increasingly difficult missions, each one designed to test your skills and strategy. From holding the line to taking down enemy convoys, every mission is a new challenge.

• Strategic Shop System: Between missions, visit the in-game shop to purchase upgrades and supplies that will give you the edge in battle.

In-game controls:

• Crank: Fire the rotary gun
• D-Pad: Aim
• A Button:    Start/stop moving forward
• B Button:   Throw a granade

How to Play:

Master the art of cranking to maintain a steady rate of fire, while managing your gun’s heat and ammo. Complete mission objectives by taking out key structures and surviving intense enemy assaults till the road is over. The game’s difficulty ramps up as you progress, with the final missions offering a real test for even the most seasoned players.

Here are a few classes you will find in-game:

SOLDIER - regular soldier

ARTILLERY - emits rockets that need to be neutralized asap

SNIPER - if you don't kill him within 5s of spotting, he will shot a very deadly shot at you

TANK - only killable with a granade. Shoots rockets like Artillery.

PARACHUTER -  when he lands, becomes a sniper.  Shot him fast while he's airbourne.

Gameplay Tips:

• Keep an Eye on Heat: Overheating your gun will force you to pause and let it cool down, leaving you vulnerable to enemy attacks.

• Prioritize Targets: Learn to identify and prioritize high-value targets to make each shot count.

•   Don't go too fast:  You control how many enemies you fight at any time. Stop and start the drive of the vehicle with A-button.

• Upgrade Wisely: Invest in upgrades that suit your playstyle, whether you prefer faster firing rates, better cooling, or explosive rounds.

• Plan Ahead: Some missions require a bit of strategy—knowing when to hold your fire and when to unleash a barrage can make all the difference.
